As a passionate advocate for the rights of people with disabilities, Stacey J. Dembo has dedicated her practice to representing adults and children with disabilities in Social Security Disability and/or SSI benefit cases. After practicing with a Chicago-area Social Security Disability firm for several years, Stacey formed the Law Offices of Stacey J. Dembo, LLC in 2014. Stacey strives to provide vigorous, compassionate, and empathetic representation for people with disabilities in Social Security matters.
Stacey is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Will County Bar Association and the Winnebago County Bar Association. Stacey formerly served as the chairperson and vice-chairperson of the Chicago Bar Association’s Social Security Law Committee. She is also a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives (NOSSCR) where she is the current co-chairperson of the Young Members Committee.

Stacey was designated as a Rising Star by Illinois Super Lawyers in 2015, a distinction given to only 2.5% of lawyers in the state.
Stacey is a firm believer in the importance of giving back to the community. She volunteers frequently within the community, providing legal services on a pro bono basis to people with disabilities and low income individuals. Stacey frequently volunteers with CARPLS, Equip for Equality, Chicago Volunteer Legal Services and the Jewish United Fund Legal Services Clinic.
